About
We are a small family run 53 slip Marina located on the Caloosahatchee River in North Fort Myers Florida. We are 1 mile from Downtown Fort Myers.
There has been a marina on this property since the 1950's.The marina was rebuilt in 2002 with new floating slips and the ship's store was remodeled in 2003. We have fixed slips and floating concrete slips. Our extra long wave attenuator keeps the dock areas calm. We are located close to shopping, libraries and marine parts surplus stores. Unlike many marinas, we love liveaboards and we don't have a minimum vessel size (so the small boats don't pay a premium). We have bath and laundry facilities ...

The TRUE Prosperity Pointe Marina
As a tenant of over four and a half years, these are some observations that I have seen during my stay at Prosperity Point Marina. The docks are in bad shape. Most of the electric pedestals for shore power do not work or are in disrepair. Boat owners need to drag extention cords across the docks to other working outlets presenting trip hazards. Several people have tripped on uneven docks or power cords causing physical injuries requiring medical treatment. The owners have been very slow to repair any item and some issues have been going on for an extended period of time. The seawall is in a bad state of disrepair with bolts coming loose and nuts falling out. Some of the floating docks are coming apart at joining sections with connecting rods coming out causing the dock to buckle at points. Several boats have sunk leaking oil and fuel into the water with no containment booms being put into place allowing the contaminants to foul the Caloosahatchie River and all the fish and wildlife in the water. As far as I know , the proper authorities were not contacted to deal with the issue when they happened. Several derelict boats are roach and rat infested which have caused other boat owners problems. The large fenced in storage yard has a light that does not always work. The perimeter fence is pushed down allowing people to come and go as they please. Some stored boats have been robbed--including ours. Not a safe area!! NO HANDICAP FACILITIES!!!!!!!
