Recently, Mountain View Shores Assn, located on New Bridge Rd., in Acton, hired White's Logging to sustainably harvest mature pines, oaks and white ash on a small parcel of land held in common by the members of the Assn. We also asked Steve Botkin (licensed forester) to work with Whites, and advise the Assn. on technical issues regarding sustainability and maturity of the harvested logs. The two worked well together and Whites logging was especially careful of the site, taking great care not to disturb sensitive portions of the harvest area. I was authorized and acted as contract administrator for the Association and am pleased to report that no members of the Association had any complaints with the way the harvest was conducted or the site was left at the conclusion of the work.
