Animal Referral Center of Arizona Our mission is to ~ Foster an understanding of the interdependence of people and animals, recognizing the unique qualities of companion animals ~ Develop awareness of the means by which animals communicate in order to increase safe interactions between people and companion animals ~ Provide specific guidelines for safe interactions between people and companion animals ~ Promote responsible care of companion animals, including spaying and neutering ~ Provide information to educational institutions at all levels, especially beginning with kindergarten and elementary school levels ~ Provide area for people to meet and communicate
