The Foster family's reputation for fine reliable auto service began in 1949 when brothers Elwood and Fred Foster opened a full-service Esso/Exxon Service Station on the corner of Route 40 and Rogers Road in North East. The Esso/Exxon Station served Cecil County for 33 years. In 1986 Elwood's son Steve and his wife Cindy, opened "Foster's Auto Service" at the end of Rogers Road and Route 272. They helped me handle a very rude tow truck driver and got us right back on the road. All in all, from pulling over due to seeing smoke coming up from under the hood to getting back on the road, it took under two hours. They offer great service and I'd definitely recommend them.
