What a grand experience I had with Mr. Cates at Expert Lamp Repair! It is obvious that Mr. Cates loves his work and takes pride In a job well done. Recently he electrified two Rayo antique kerosine lamps and one English antique lamp for me. The English lamp had a marble base which made it a challenge to electrify; yet Mr. Cates found an ingenious way to do it. All three lamps were beautifully restored as well as electrified. Plus the price of the job was more than fair. Mr. Cates is an outstanding "artist" who possesses great integrity. There are few great craftsmen like Mr. Harold Cates in the world. In his backyard workshop, he indeed works magic on lamps of all kinds.

Harold restored and reworked a 100 year old Spanish 16 light bronze chandelier that I brought back with me to America. I highly recommend his work especially to anyone needing European lights rewired to American standards. He does quality work for a reasonable price and pays great attention to detail.
