My mother is a resident at Georgetown Manor nursing home located off Dixie Hwy and is not being cared for by the staff. We have filed numerous complaints with the state of Kentucky and are awaiting the results of the latest investigation. Approx. two weeks ago, someone raked their nails down her back causing injury and we had to call the police who came in and took pictures as did the nursing director on duty but no one has been fired or made to be accountable. We have come in several times to find my mother dirty and smelling of urine when staff see us they run to the room and act as if they were going to clean her up this lack of care has resulted in 4 UTIâs two requiring hospitalization. My mother cannot feed herself often we find her sitting looking at her plate. When she does try to feed herself her hands shake and most of the food is on her person and not in her mouth. Several of her items have come up missing. The social worker has this hook up with an Avon lady who come into the facility and sell items to resident some of whom have no idea of what is going on once they called me at work requesting payment for items they said my mother wanted. Most people on get about 30.00 extra a month and that goes to the Avon lady. My mother uses a CPAP at night and we have come in to find it not in use. We have requested that we be contacted if there is an issue but never are yet the machine is not used. Tonight my sister called the DOA (who did not know I was on the phone
