Largest contractor for the Temporary Housing For Homeless Families contract 1991-1995. This was a transitional housing program; clients were sent from the Department of Human Service, Intake Unit. Therefore, Anchor Development Corporation, Inc. provided safe and sanitary housing and prepare more than 2,500 units for homeless families. This was a very successful DC venture; and kudos to Mayor Vincent Gray who was director at DHS during the life of this contract.
