Champagne Elevators was established in 1972 by Carroll Spraberry. The name came from Gayle Champagne Spraberry, Carroll's wife. It began in warehouse/office space on Labarre Road and was a division of Raftery Elevators. The company has been in its current location in Metairie since the early nineties.
