Refinishing, repair and installation of anything door and door related. There are two elements that affect an exterior wood finish: sun and water. The control or lack of control of these two elements affects the success of a finish. UV rays from the sun destroys the bond between the wood and the finish. The result is failure and lifting of the finish. Water then penetrates the wood and causes expansion and contraction as it leaves. This cycle of expanding and contracting will cause further finish failure allowing more moisture to enter the porous wood. This creates an excellent environment for fungus to develop and eventually rotting can occur. DoorRestore can help by restoring the protective finish and by providing the future maintenance that your doors need.
