The company was started in 1978 as Preston Surveys to offer high quality land surveying services. In 1990, the focus of the company was changed to photogrammetric mapping, aerial photography, and control surveying and the Metric Surveys trade name was adopted. Metric Surveys is a small company, but very well equipped and experienced in all phases of aerial mapping.
