If you live in the Westminster area, Comcast will recommend that you use Custom Cabling. You should ignore their recommendation. Custom Cabling gave me an appointment within two weeks of my call, but then, failed to keep the appointment twice. Both times, I had to call them after they had missed it, to find out what was going on. The second time that Custom Cabling missed the scheduled appointment, they were very apologetic, and said that the installer would arrive at 7:30 the next day, first stop in the morning. When I called the next day, at 8:45, they told me that he was enroute. When he called me at 9:00, the installer said that he was enroute, and should be there at 9:35. He did arrive (at 9:50), performed the installation that day, and did a professional job. I have zero complaints about the installer and his work. However, the company as a whole does not deserve your business. I took off from work on three separate days for a job that took two hours, each day having to call myself and pester them to hear anything about the appointment (later, they called very promptly when it was time for them to be paid). Though Custom Cabling was aware of the situation, they offered a $25 discount. If you have a straightforward residential cable run, then I strongly recommend that you not risk dealing with Custom Cabling. They either lack the ability to schedule work effectively, or treat residential customers as a very low priority.

Absolutely AHMAZING service!!!! I recommend without hesitation! I was looking to improve my Internet connection, as I was not getting the speeds that Comcast said I should be Getting due to older cables in my home. I needed to have them hard wire my modem Located in the 2nd level. My Main concern is that I didn’t want cables coming out of the front of my house. Stephanie from Custom Cabling was able to make a convenient appointment that did not conflict with my work schedule. The representative, Gonzalo, arrived and reviewed the wiring. He immediately noticed that the wire coming from the outside box to the modem in my house was insufficient to handle the speed that I have. Gonzalo rewired the the outside box to my modem; and hard wired my original outlet which Comcast did a poor job setting up. ALL of the wires were fished through the walls, so there are no wires visible in my new location. My computer, smart tv are now working at lightning speed. Gonzalo was extremely professional, patient, personable, and left area clean. I HIGHLY recommend Custom Cabling to anyone looking to get the job done right.

I’m giving one star. Because, I can’t give zero. Worst customer service ever in my whole life. I never been so mistreated by a company like them. Never get their service. They prefer to scream at customer when they made the mistake. I had a appointment scheduled for 8-12. I was home the whole time, I have a door bell . I called at 12:30 asking where was my technician, they told me that he was late. I asked if he was still coming and they say that he would. I told them that was okay and I would wait for it. I called again at 3pm because nobody showed up. The supervisor for the residencial appointments start to scream at me saying that he came to my house 8:45 am and I didn’t answer the door. When I asked why he didn’t call me, why he didn’t press the door bell , why he didn’t knock , her answer was that he knocked and he didn’t call me because their office was close. So, I mention to her that I called early and someone told me that he was coming and why they didn’t tell that he was here early. that I need to be reschedule, so I would not keep waiting for more 3 hours . Besides to give me answers she kept being rude with me saying that he came and I didn’t answer. I told her that I work with customer service and I would never treat a customer like this even in this hard moment that we all are in. She could had found a solution, she could had treat me better, besides this she kept being rude and they just reschedule me for next week. Now I have to wait for more a whole week to get this service done, and my question now it’s should I have my door open from 8-12 so I don’t miss him again ??? So easy to blame the customer when you team didn’t do the effort to offer a good service !!

If Comcast is giving you headaches like it did me....for weeks and weeks . Different techs who thought they knew what they were doing but didn't, call this company. Chris diagnosed the problem, found the shoddy Comcast work and got us in working order. Seriously, call this company...you can't go wrong.

After dealing with multiple Comcast Installations, I broke down and reached out to Customer Cabling to fix my cable and connectivity related issues and get my X1 Comcast Platform boxes up and running, Thank God for Chris and Custom Cabling. I called on a Monday morning, by Wednesday they were at my house and fixed the cable and connection problems that Comcast should have fixed earlier. If you want your job done right... the first time... I would highly recommend Customer Cabling. Professional and competent and it actually cost less than I had expected. Thanks Again!! Mark

I do not know how their work is...I have had 3 appointments and they were a no-show at each one. I received no calls saying they were tied up or were not coming. I called each time and they made another appointment. After the third no-show I called the office with my concern. The lady was very polite and promised me they would be out for the next appointment. Guess what?!? No-show, no-call. What a great first, second, third, fourth first impression. Customer service? You are kidding me.

I cannot say how thankful I am for Chris and this company. I have been a Comcast customer and have yet to have someone from Comcast help me get my services running for over a month... while being charged! Chris went beyond what he had to do to make sure that my TV/Internet services were working, which is something I have yet to see down here living in Baltimore. In my past experiences, it seems as though no one truly cared about my unlucky situation of no TV or internet. Chris stayed at my house until 9pm in the evening and made sure that my TV and internet were working before he left. I cannot thank him enough for his service and will recommend this company to all.

I was drivig on Hanover Pike(Md. 30) just northof Reistrstown MD onSept 4 2012 at approx. 930p when one of thier vebicles tailgated me and flashed highbeams at m twice when I was driving slightly ABOVE the speed limit. I f I had to stop I would ave been rear ended since tjhe idiot driving was almosdt touching m,y vehicle. The driver eventually passed me and took off at an extremely high rate of speed.

First off, I should state that I barely ever use Manta but feel compelled to write this review because of how impressed I was with Chris at Custom Cabling. His quote was reasonable and given his flexibility with the appointment time (i always appreciate businesses that accommodate demanding hours of busy working people like myself), it was a very easy decision for me. He worked quickly and efficiently, leaving no mess behind. He was extremely courteous and professional, and the quality of the installation exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

This company is awesome. They just finished mounting my flat screen over my fireplace, and everything works, it's perfectly level, there's not a cord to be seen, and the space was left immaculate.
