DATS failed at customer service, and at service recovery. This week I received a shipment delivered by DATS. In spite of clear instructions to call me first, the driver did not do that. Instead he placed the loaded pallet in front of our garage door. Then did not have time to come back in time to pick it up. So the shipment and our cars sat outside during a rain and hail storm. The supervisor in Commerce City was uncooperative, beligerent, and refused to take responcibility for the mistake. This company does not live up to their own mission statement and committent to service. Anyone can make a mistake, owning it and aplogizing can go a long way in service recovery. DATS doesn't comprehend that concept.
