Sacramento Collaborative Practice group (SCPG) is a group of professionals interested in helping clients with divorce with compassion. Our group is a multi-disciplinary group open to specific professionals interested in Collaborative conflict resolution. Our mission is to educate the public about Collaborative Practice, to advance excellence in Collaborative Practice among our members, and to work together in multi-disciplinary teams to help people resolve divorce peacefully, respectfully, and out of court. The group includes family law attorneys, mental health practitioners, neutral financial professionals and other types of experts who may be involved in a Collaborative divorce resolution process. SCPG provides additional training and continuing education. Members of SCPG are involved in the coordination of public education projects related to Collaborative Practice and present monthly Divorce Options workshops throughout the Sacramento area. We are committed to the Collaborative Process, an approach to solving problems by reaching mutually agreeable solutions. Clients and professionals work together, respectfully and in good faith, to gather the information needed to reach an agreement. The goal is a win/win situation for all.
