My wife merely went to the office to ask why the quest charges were so high for family members to use the childrens' playground. The senior owner quickly became belligerent, ultimately shouting insults at my wife as she retreated from the office. VERY INTIMIDATING! KOA Corporate office opened Case Number 376348 regarding this incident. The Better Business Bureau has lowered it's rating of Lakeside KOA to "C" based on multiple customer complaints. Also, beware of the KOA/Lakeside food services. The Larimer County Health Department rated food safety at Lakeside KOA as "Marginal", and the food kiosk is located atop the campground's former sewage dump station. We'll never go back to KOA/Lakeside. Instead, we found nearby Boyd Lake State Park a much better choice and less expensive too.
