Michael Bednarz, DPM, has been named a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS), joining an elite group of physicians. The ACFAS reserves Fellow membership status for foot and ankle surgeons who earn board certification from the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS). Dr. Bednarz was recently board certified in foot surgery. Dr. Bednarz earned his B.S. at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. He was then accepted into Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland where he completed his doctoral training in podiatry. Following a three-year surgical residency at Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center and Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL, Dr. Bednarz passed the ABPS' rigorous written examination to become board qualified.
