I bought Lazy Boy furniture from Bert Maxwell Furniture in Macon, which has a lifetime warranty. They had a bad attitude when I had to take the furniture in for repair, and an even worse attitude when I picked up the furniture after having to pay several hundred dollars for the work which was under warranty. The employees and the owner were complaining saying my furniture needed to be thrown in the trash and saying that my furniture is obsolete. First of all, that is not the way to conduct business. It's rude and unprofessional. They're great when you're spending money your hard earned money with them, but worst customer service I've ever had in my life when they have to do some actual work on that same furniture that you purchased from them. I'm all about supporting your local family owned business, but never again from them. They've definitely lost my family and I as customers.
