Currently living here and rent was raised to 550 plus utilities which is pretty cheap considering how close it is to campus, but there are so many issues that make it not worth the emotional stress put onto you. To start, the dishwasher and microwave don't work. The a/c units aren't maintained or cleaned regularly. I actually found mold in my bedroom and kitchen a/c, but they claim it's just dirt. There is no in unit washer and dryer and the ones in the complex turn off randomly and you have to pay in quarters to use them. I have to drive home every weekend to do laundry. They don't give you a heads up when maintenance is coming and leave your doors unlocked when they leave. I found baby spiders all over my ceiling once. And they will yell at you and accuse you of doing something wrong randomly. For example, I was accused of putting a lock on my bedroom door, when I hadn't been there all weekend from the mold. When I moved in my shower had paint chipping in it causing it to constantly clogged. And it also seems like they try to find a way to not pay deposits back.

If you want an 80 year old hag with the emotional intelligence of a 2 year old as a landlord then this is the property management for you! Anna screams and cusses at you, hangs up on you without letting you speak, NEVER maintains the place when something is broken, will always blame you for anything wrong on the property and threaten to evict you all the time. THE PLACES ARE SHITHOLES. We've had roaches and rats and busted water pipes. Never once did she send anyone to fix the issue. Why is this business still operating? The house has 50yo carpet all throughout that never once was cleaned. Some bedroom walls have holes to the outside and windows are so old they are falling apart. It should be illegal.

I lived in one of Milo Prop. apts my senior year, the only affordable housing on that street so the apt. wasn't great but it was cheap. Dealt with multiple issues while living there making the apartment "unlivable" at times, (no toilet over night or all day in our only bathroom, mold, no heat for over a week in the middle of winter). It was hard to get a response from the owner when texting about these issues, but my roomate seemed to get a response right away. I never recieved any complaints while I lived there, kept things clean/in perfect condition. So I was shocked in the treatment/accusations I received after asking about my deposit I never received. I hardly stayed there, I can count on 2 hands the amount of nights I actually stayed over in the apt. I was told my deposit would be returned after assessing damages (was never done) & never recieved it. I disclosed the 1 damage (cover for a light fixture) & told them to take money for that, my roomate (still lives there) even clarified no damages. After 5 months & no deposit showing up I texted asking kindly about it. With the lack of time I spent there I thought I should have recieved it. Got a brief response saying she'd look into it. Texted a month later, no response. 4 months of texting, I recieved a response that my "nasty messages" wouldnt be passed along. Wish I could attach pics of my respectful yet stern messages just asking for either a receipt or the deposit. I then received the most absurd/unprofessional text
I have ever recieved. Full of name calling, false claims of acts I supposedly commited, when I was never on the property when claimed to have taken place (roomate confirmed it is all false). I was spoken to in a manner I have NEVER been spoken to. My boyfriend who did not live there & met the owner ONCE the night we moved in was repeatedly called a "nasty, alcoholic, belligerent thug" in the texts from a supposed "cleaning staff member". He is a purdue graduate, with a sales job, always looks presentable, & drank at that apt. maybe once or twice. He's far from a drunk or a thug.. I am disgusted at all the nasty things she said about him and myself. We never spent our weekends there partying/making a mess as claimed, we stayed at his house or at home so the claims that we blared music and threw beer cans were absurd because they are blatant lies that I can back with evidence. PLEASE read the reviews, they do this far too often. They are the definition of slum lords & will be nice until you've moved out and want your deposit. I am mind blown at the way this "business" spoke to me and handles their tenants/previous tenants. Anna the owner frequently spoke about problems she had with tenants or old tenants so my roomate and I always went above and beyond to be clean and respectful. We were told there would be a $150 fee for any trash not in the outside trash cans so clearly we were not out there throwing trash around like claimed or we would've been repeatedly fined. I never received a complaint from neighbors, Anna, or cleaning staff the entire time I lived there but now after repeatedly following up on a deposit I am being accused of being a terrible tenant who should've been evicted. Makes no sense when every interaction I had with the workers was respectful and nice. I DO NOT recommend living here unless you cannot afford anything else, they are a joke & I am so disappointed at how rude and disrespectful they were to me on a situation that could've been handled when I first reached out by simply sending me a receipt so I knew what the deposit was used for because (as told by my roomate who does not live there) no repairs were made to anything in the apartment so I know it was not used for any damages.
