Lightning Tool, for my company was a huge waste of time and money ( see photos). The tooling they supplied for our product was unusable and literally sold for scrap. As a new start-up with minimal capital, I choose off shore tooling (China)and an acid etch texture for the price . I have since completed tooling with another local company with tooling made in-house with laser engraving and plugs to cover screw bosses($8,000 additional quote from Lightning) for the same price, paid to Lightning Tool.
