I cannot recommend Kim highly enough! From the moment we started working together, her knowledge, patience, and genuine love for dogs were evident. She is especially excellent at making corrections without using any force or excessive punishment. My dog, Whiskey, was struggling with leash pulling, excessive barking, and reactivity, and by the end of our sessions, we saw incredible progress. Kim tailored the training to mine and Whiskey's specific needs and made the entire process enjoyable for both of us. She explained techniques clearly and provided helpful training plans we could practice at home. It was amazing to see Whiskey not only learn new behaviors but also gain confidence and bond with me even more. Kim is simply the best trainer I've encountered. We've had several dogs and tried many trainers but she just has this amazing knowledge of dog behavior and a presence that makes the dogs respond. She trained us to recognize and understand our pup's body language so we can be better owners and provide our dog the leadership she needs. Her methods on socialization of fearful dogs has worked miracles for our rescue pup. She went from barking and lunging at other dogs on our daily walks, to walking around the farmer's market and happily sitting outside at Starbucks. I fully recommend Kim if you are looking for a trainer. If you want the best, Kim is it.

We have a rescue dog that we think is part Chocolate Lab and Boxer. He is a typical puppy. Full of energy and very inquisitive. We knew before we adopted him that we wanted to have a dog that we could take out in public with us and would be a good travel companion. We had taken our previous dogs to group puppy classes and never really had any success. This time we wanted training that was more personal and focused on our needs. After much research, we came upon Quality Canines by Kim. This was the best decision we could have made for both our dog Moose and ourselves. From the very first day, Kim was wonderful. She took the time to get to know Moose so that he was comfortable working with her. Kim has had experience with all types of dogs and enjoys a challenge when working with her clients. She definitely got that with Moose on some days. We could tell immediately that she loves all dogs. Working with Kim has taught us how to interact with Moose so that he can be a good citizen and we can be good dog owners. Kim is very professional in the way she handles Moose. She is firm yet gentle and she explains everything she is doing. It is amazing how Kim knows exactly what Moose is thinking just by watching his movements and expressions. Kim also gives you a printout explaining each lesson just in case you are like us and need a little reminder. We are so pleased with the behavior changes in Moose. We can now comfortably take him on walks and in public places (we always get compliments on what a good dog he is) without him pulling or trying to get to other dogs and people. This is great because we consider him part of our family and want to take him with us whenever possible. One of the other great things that Kim does, is she has dog parties for her clients. These are great for socializing your dog. Moose has the best time when we go. It is nice because all of the other dogs there are well behaved because Kim has trained them all. We don't have to worry about the other dogs being aggressive towards Moose. If you are looking for a great dog trainer, you can't go wrong with Quality Canines by Kim. You will be amazed at the progress your dog makes during your first meeting with her. We recommend her to everyone we know that has a dog or is thinking of getting a dog. We have owned multiple dogs over the years but this is the first time we have take the time to really train them. Wow what a difference it has made. So many things we didn't know. So many things we learned we were doing wrong and not knowing. It has been an awesome experience start to finish. For me one of the best parts was you can get Kim consults for life! Such peace of mind knowing that whenever or of whatever problem may arise we will have Kim as backup to help us solve it. I can't recommend enough. Hands down some of the best money ever spent.

Kim has trained two of my dogs to do therapy work and I can't say enough wonderful things about her. Her dog parties provide a safe environment to socialize your dog, we have all been trained by her and the dogs all follow the same commands. I have seen her work with aggressive dogs as well as scared dogs and it amazes me to see how she can help them. Kim is always just a phone call away if a problem arises or my dog lapses back to his old, bad behaviors. My dogs love Auntie Kim and are always excited to see her! Training with Kim was the best thing we could have done, she has restored order in our household, my dogs are so well behaved, follow commands and are happier pups because of her.
