Dr. Rinke specializes in diseases and surgery of the eye, including eyelid surgery, cataract surgery, glaucoma treatment, diabetic eye evaluations, and general eye exams. He is a member of the medical staff at Alpena Regional Medical Center. Dr. Rinke received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Oakland University and attended medical school at Wayne State University. He completed an internship at Detroit Medical Center and a residency at Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit. In 2008, Dr. Rinke became a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Rinke received the Lawrence Stocker, M.D., Award for Compassionate Medicine, which recognizes a medical resident who exhibits exemplary skills, kindness, and care in the practice of medicine over and above a physician???
