Cooperative Nursery School The goal of Sturbridge Cooperative Nursery School is to help our preschool children learn to work and play with other children, to give them the opportunity to work and play with different equipment and toys, to foster growth and independence in each child, to promote healthy habits and to prepare them for kindergarten. We are a cooperative experience where parent/guardian involvement is crucial to the sucess of the school. All parents/guardians are scheduled to volunteer in the classroom two weeks per year and to help with maintenance of the building/grounds throughout the year. This greater involvement allows parents/guardians to share in and add to their child's preschool experience and allows the children to see that their education is an important part of their life.
