Residential 1-4 unit property mortgages are restricted to New York State only, but commercial and multifamily loans are generally originated nationwide (except California, Arizona, Alaska, Hawaii, Las Vegas, or U.S. territories), with the exception of Hotel, Shopping Malls, Office, High End Condominiums, and Townhome Development, Solar and Wind Alternative properties in excess of $10M which are available in all domestic markets and internationally. Ground up construction is possible with a detailed narrative, feasibility study, construction plans, and entity - ownership documents. Joint Venture capital is available with the project sponsor contributing at least 15% to 20% of their own capital.
