I would not recommend this dealer. I have had nothing but trouble with the truck I bought from them. It had not been maintained prior to sale, I.E., the oil was 3 qts low, the trans fluid was 2 qts low, the wires that control the 4WD were cut, the 4WD solenoid for the front differential was finger-tight, missing the actuator pin, and the front differential had close to zero gear oil in it. The front brakes were nearly down to the rivets, the temp gauge doesn’t work, The fuel gauge flutters, the tires were low on tread, The engine goes through a quart of oil every 100 miles, the brake master cylinder was held on with baling wire, the spark plugs were horribly fouled, the cap and rotor were burned, the plug wires were arcing, and there was a Tupperware container with chicken in it under the front seat that we found later when the truck started smelling horribly. The right turn signal works intermittently when the headlights are on, the dashboard lights do not come on when the headlights are on, and also flash on when I hit the brake pedal. Guy Cucurillo, the salesman, who also works at Walmart, told us the engine and transmission were strong and should be reliable, and “The 4WD works great” (his exact words). During the purchase, Delores Chapman, one of the owners, when asked about it’s reliability, stated, “I wouldn’t drive it to the Valley (270 mile trip) every day.” We didn’t intend on doing that anyway.
