I found Coyote Engines Inc and they had great reviews. They picked up my car to rebuild my engine. Little did I know, they outsourced their work to Lone Star Engine Installation. Long story short, I am out over 4 grand, and still do not have a working car. So many lies and deception going with them. I filed a complaint on BBB for Coyote Engines and FINALLY got a call back after several months. When I tried to call them out, I was yelled at and treated disrespectfully. Please do not waste your time or money.

Went to shop because of great reviews. I paid for a rebuilt long block for my truck. Cost $2700.00. It included a 6 month, no mileage warranty. Motor used oil at the rate of 1 quart/500 miles. Returned unit for repair and was told that nothing was wrong with it. Problem continued so i returned it two weeks later and they had it 5 days. I was told once again that nothing was wrong with it. Returned again, they had it for 6 days and was told nothing was wrong. Original motor had a stripped spark plug hole in the #5 cylinder. When returned after rebuild #5 plug blew out due to compression. The cylinder heads were obviously the same ones. After calling Ralph Sanchez, Owner, I told him that all cylinders showed signes of anti freeze leaking in. When told of the plug blowing out, Sanchez denied that it was not possible for that to happen and hung up. They did not honor their warranty and the workmanship was such as to make the motor unusable. I would strongly suggest to anyone that they avoid this shop and look elsewhere.

I requested to have the engine rebuilt and was told that I would receive a year warranty and unlimited miles. When I picked the car up on 1-15-2013 I paid 1575.00 on my debit card in addition to the 300.00 cash that I paid three days before.
When I went to pick the car up, the car was squeeking before I left the lot. They told me that the timing enging cover was broken and the noise was made from the timing belt hitting the plastic cover. The sales rep. told me that he could not find a timing belt cover so he put the broken one back on. He also stated that if I found a new one that he would put it on at no charge.
I was also told that a new radiator was installed at a price of 95.00. When looking under the hood I discovered that they only cleaned my existing radiator which was not more than a year old.
The sales Rep. said the several other parts were replaced which were not. He told me that he would install the spark plugs for free but lied. He stated that he replaced the water pump with a Honda dealer 60.00 water pump but did not. I was told that 2x new fuel injectors were installed but I do not believe that they were. I also had to order a engine mount from an auto parts store becasue Sales Rep claimed that he looked everywhere and could not find one.
By the time I got half way down the Highway the check engine light came on. The timing belt was rubbing against the broken plastic cover causing it to smoke and the RPM gauge was bouncing up and down.
I called the shop to speak the owner, who was very rude and arrogant. I explained to him my concerns and told him that I had ordered the timing belt cover from another auto parts store and asked was it his common business practice to install broken parts. I also asked him why didnt he inform me that the timing belt cover was broken. In summary he stated that he would not honnor the warranty because that was not part of the engine and that I had refused to install new spark plugs the plugs that sales rep told me that he installed at no charge. I told him that he need do the job that I paid him to do and he refused.
Later, that same night after leaving work, my steering wheel became tight causing me to think that there was a leak in my power steering system. I pulled into an auto parts store to purchase some power steerin fluid. When I lifted the hood I noticed that the belt had broken and was completely missing. The next moring on my way to work the battery light came on in addition to the check engine light, the whinning timing belt, and the bouncing RPM gauge.
I chose this company because of the 5-star rating that showed on their website but later learned that the reviews were not from actuall customers but were from friends and family members that wrote bogus comments. If you search this business on the internet you will find that they have 13 compliants to the B.B.B within the past month alone.
In summary, I recommend that you take your business to someone else. Save yourself from the headache of dealing with this company.
