Our story begins with Grand Master Jun Lee. He is the only international-level Taekwondo gold medalist (1981 World Champion) in all of Maryland, DC, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. The only other Taekwondo world champion or Olympic gold-medalist is in Virginia and they happen to be good friends! Our school has won multiple state-level and national-level titles. In fact, we are the ONLY Taekwondo school that is nationally-ranked in Taekwondo demonstration in all of Maryland, DC, Virginia, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. Our school maintains a membership through the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) in Seoul, South Korea. In accordance with WTF regulations, we teach our students sparring techniques used in the Olympics, traditional poomsae (forms), and other skills personally developed by Grand Master Lee. We are a family-friendly Martial Arts school that specializes in teaching our students self-discipline, self-control, and self-defense through Taekwondo. In addition to normal Taekwondo lessons, we also offer after school care during the school year and camps during summer, winter, and spring breaks. As Taekwondo has grown in popularity over the years, we have found that the sport has a tendency to become highly commercialized and profit-driven at the expense of delivering a true Martial Arts experience. We are not a franchise or a "cookie-cutter" Taekwondo school. You can expect a great level of flexibility with your payments and a highly personalized experience to meet your needs.

Deborah Olivera is a classically trained pianist offering private piano lessons for all ages and all levels of study in Columbia, Maryland. After starting to play the piano at the age of five, Deborah played in progressively more performances, and started entering competitions in her teens. She auditioned for several choral groups in High School and was selected as the primary accompanist for all singing groups for all her High School years. She then attended the Peabody Conservatory of Music and graduated four years later with a Baccalaureate in Music for Piano Performance. She has been teaching and playing ever since. She has played for churches in both paid and voluntary positions, and has directed several small church choirs.
