While I hate posting negative reviews I can't help but comment on the complete absence of obligation to commitment that Doug has shown. Doug was referred to us by a friend. We had Doug out for an estimate to do some work in our home. He gave us an estimate along with a time estimate for getting the work done. We agreed with the terms he set for us. Doug committed to us he would let us know when he could get the work done for us. This was several weeks ago. After many requests for Doug to give us a time that he would be able to give us a date he could get the work done for us, all we got was "I'll get back to you", "...will have to be later February", and other non committal times basically stringing us along. I never received a call or e-mail from Doug, I was the one that had to reach out. Today I was told by Doug that he "took on a large job..." and he would not be able to do a couple of the tasks we got a bid for but he would get back to us to see if his carpenter could do one of the tasks. I have to say that integrity is extremely lacking here and while I'm sure we were not the "big, money making job" that Doug would prefer, it says a lot about a company when they present an honest estimate for their services, representing they would honor that work, and then string out the client that is looking forward to having the work done, then take on another job basically backing off the commitment made to get that work done for them. Very Flakey!!! No Integrity!! So Sad!!!
