Very unimpressed with the way the sales staff handles themselves.

Went to Northstar Ford with 2008 Ford Focus 2 dr. that had a major problem with the passenger door remote lock. It usually didn't work, but if it unlocked, it usually couldn't be locked again, not even manually. Asked them to diagnose the locks, and give estimate. They gave an estimate, apparently to fix both doors. I gave the OK. Two days later, I went to pick it up. They had only fixed the DRIVER'S door, but the PASSENGER door wasn't even looked at. They charged an outrageous price to fix the door that worked BEST. When I got mad, they offered to fix BOTH for what I had already paid. Then they ordered parts for the passenger door, and two days later said that it was DONE. Went to get the car, and discovered that they hadn't worked on the passenger door, but they insisted that they did. Finally I phoned upper management, they got on the ball, the service department finally installed the parts, and I picked up the completed car that afternoon. It took six days to get two door latches replaced. Plus, the service department seemed to have an aversion to calling customers to keep them informed, or to notify them that the car is done.
