We were the Philadelphia area's first karate school. Offering quality instruction for men, women and children in Karate and Basic Self Defense
Founded in 1960, the Shuto Karate Club opened it's doors at 119 W Chelten Ave and was the first karate school in the Philadelphia area. In 2010 we celebrated our 50th anniversary. Chief Instructor, L. L. Flournoy has been teaching martial arts in the Phoenixville and Collegeville areas since 1972. Locations in Skippack and Hatfield Townships.
