BUYER BEWARE of Designs by Delano and owners Tara Delano and Michael Delano. We hired them in May of 2021 to remodel our master bathroom for over $28,000 we paid them over $21,000 of which $14,000 was for them to purchase the materials. They did not complete our bathroom and they refused to return our materials money. We had to file a civil suit against them and was recently awarded by the judge through settlement for them to repay us $10,000 of our money. We also filed complaints against the Delanos to the Alabama Homebuilders Licensure Board who fined them $1000 in February of 2022 for not being licensed with the state. We also filed a complaint with the Alabama Electrical Board who sent them a CEASE AND DESIST order in February of 2022. We are here to make you aware of these people, we do not want what happened to us to happen to another unsuspecting homeowner! See the photo of the condition they left our project $21K later! We had to hire other contractors to come in to finish the job! Do your own due diligence on these people before you write that check!
