My experience has been frustrating, particularly as I've been attempting to collect a debt owed to me without escalating matters. However, it has become necessary to take further action, and I will continue to update this review as I proceed. Here are my next steps: - I will file a complaint against Competitive Construction, Inc. with the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB). - I intend to file a labor board complaint with the California Labor Commissioner's Office (DLSE) or the California Civil Rights Department (CRD). - I will be writing a detailed account of my experience with Steven Olivares on various media platforms, including but not limited to BuildZoom, Houzz, The Builder Market, and LinkedIn. -I will file a complaint with the Labor Enforcement Task Force (LETF). Additionally, Steven has consistently responded with empty promises and excuses despite numerous attempts to settle this debt since the job was completed in 2023. He has no intention of rectifying this serious issue regarding non-payment for my work. I am sharing my experience to raise awareness and help ensure others do not experience a similar situation.
