Coastal Cafe and Bakery is located in Historic Downtown Searsport, just a short walk from Mosman Park and the Searsport Dock. Searsport is located just 6 miles north of Belfast, at the far northern tip of the pristine Penobscot Bay. Our restaurant and bakery serves made-from-scratch pastries, including in-house Croissants and Fresh Bread (our personal favorite is the blueberry-ginger!) We also have baguettes baked fresh daily, with other breads available throughout the week. We are a small cafe/restaurant and as such both owners work in house, so you can be assured that every item that leaves our place is under strict quality control. We prepare our items from scratch, daily. We are best known for our house cooked Corned Beef, Fresh baked french toast, and an eye on the care of each meal prepared. We have a full brunch menu included on this site. We serve, Thursday – Sunday, from 7am – 2pm! Our menu varies with the seasons, and with what is locally available for purchase. We believe in supporting local companies and do business with many of Maine’s great food suppliers and producers. We strive to use local fresh ingredients, and spend a lot of time throughout the year sourcing our meats, cheeses and vegetables locally here in Maine.
