We've had a terrible experience with Premier Pools - so I'm posting the review I wish I had read when I was choosing a pool builder. These guys are over-extended and under-supervised, so everything takes much longer than planned and doesn't have any quality control. We began our pool build in March, and only finished yesterday (Oct). Premier's estimate was 8-12 weeks. It actually took 24 weeks. Along the way, unsupervised crews cut our gas line and left gas pouring into our backyard without telling anyone, and we found it when arriving home that night to rotten-egg smell permeating the air. They severed the electricity line. That took 14 weeks for Premier to repair. The plumbing was installed about a foot off from where it was supposed to be, and nobody checked quality before gunite was installed, so then all plumbing had to be jackhammered out, moved, and concrete patched. Unsupervised crews drank on the job - we found many, many empty beer cans inside the fire feature and planters, a clear sign they knew there was no chance of a supervisor showing up to check on their work. Our project manager flipped between providing consistently wrong information or not communicating with us at all. He'd say we were waiting on decking to be delivered, and I'd point out I had texted him a week prior to confirm the decking was already delivered to our house. At one point we went 32 days with no work being done, and our project manager didn't even acknowledge my calls/texts.

WARNING. Be careful to use the services of this company! I was offered a price of $38,800 for my pool construction. Here are the problems I had during my yearlong nightmare: - Deadlines were missed - They started building, then didn't do anything for weeks. Construction was delayed several weeks. - One year (!) after they started building the pool is still not finished - No reaction to emails or certified letters - Even after involving the BBB (Better Business Bureau) not much happened. BBB can not do much if the company does not react - Only after complaining to the State Contractors Board some improvements were done (only because they can lose their licence). Still, some of the damages were still ignored - After Premier Pools claimed to have finished their work a total of 14 defects had to be corrected. As per today, six of them are still due to be repaired (i.e. spa loses water. Paint on the wall of our house. Concrete at walls.
