She maintains a private practice in Bellevue, Washington. Dr. Moore has been practicing psychiatry for over 35 years. In 1991 she founded The Moore Center (now Eating Recovery Center of Washington), the longest-established treatment center specializing in eating disorder treatment in the Pacific Northwest. In her many years of clinical experience she has worked with patients dealing with a wide variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and substance abuse, among others. She is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Dr. Moore's approach to treatment is focused on identifying and reinforcing individual and family values and capabilities. She believes that treatment is most effective, and recovery most durable, when existing individual and family strengths can be reinforced. Healing is made more sustainable when systems of support can be mobilized to reduce or eliminate obstacles to effective functioning at work, at home, and at play. Her approach is solutions-oriented and focuses on helping her patients to reclaim their best selves in a timely manner. Education: Dr. Moore is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist. She trained as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Clinic, an affiliate of the Childrens' Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her residency in General Psychiatry at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. She received her medical training at the University of Tehran, Iran.
