Beware! During one of my therapy sessions, Marcus stated, "Instead of drinking alcohol, increase your Klonopin dosage by 1/2 pill per day." This statement led me to believe that I had a choice between drinking alcohol and taking medication! This clinician is not authorized to give advice on highly potent and potentially addictive medications! He is a Psychologist not a Psychiatrist or MD. The drug Klonopin is a benzodiazepine and it is only to be prescribed under the formal care of a Psychiatrist or an MD in a highly controlled setting. Marcus gave me extremely unprofessional, unethical, and negligent information. I would never recommend him, nor his referring clinician Sherry Cheng to anyone, there are too many better trained and more ethical therapists out there, just take your time and do your homework PRIOR to seeking help, I wish I did!
