La fond Galleries was established by Pittsburgh artist Michael Hertrich, and partners Terry and Rena laughlin in July 1989 as ReMich Gallery in the historic South Side area of Pittsburgh. A short year later Adelaide and Richard La Fond purchased the gallery, thus the name change.
