SleepyGoat Farm is located on 160 undulating acres in Pelham, NC, just 6 miles south of Danville, VA and 44 miles north of Greensboro, NC. Our herd of mostly Oberhasli goats numbered around 50, with several retirees replaced by young, fresh producers yearly. Licensed as a Farmstead Cheese Maker by the state of North Carolina in June of 2004, our cheese-making operation, SleepyGoat Cheese, produced several kinds of cheese, fresh and aged, pasteurized and raw.
