Quest Diagnostics made a difficult experience into a nightmare with customer service and attitude. We had a doctor's order for some blood work that we had just picked up that morning. On it were both tests that we needed for the next day and a test that requires fasting. Fasting could not have occurred yet because of the time since the order was received (that morning). The other tests still needed to be done for the following doctor's visit. The clerk very rudely said that he was going to write test refused for the fasting test. This was not the case at all. We tried to work with him to hold off on that one test and do the others and not only would he not even budge, but his manner and phrases suggested we were messing up our entire lives and that his life is sooo much better. This was followed by the one who was actually drawing the blood not listening to our request for a certain type of needle (based on our own past experience of what was required) and then when she discovered we were right and that needle was required (which of course meant she used the wrong needle multiple times) she then blamed us for the wrong needle not working. The place deals with needles, blood, and sometimes life altering tests, no extra anxiety or stress is is needed there; and therefore should have impeccable customer service.
