Fabrics & Fabrics is known as New York's premier designer fashion fabrics source, we carry an exclusive variety of high-fashion designer fabrics. Set on the corner of West 38th and 8th Avenue, in the heart of New York’s garment district, Fabrics & Fabrics prides itself on having one of the largest selections of couture fabrics in North America.
Being one of New York's premier fabric stores, the company is proud to serve the Theatre industry, Film industry, TV production companies, and all their costume department needs.
Of course, both Haute couture designers and emerging designers consider F&F a source for their collections. Their fabrics also go into dressing many celebrities and red carpet events, and not to forget home sewers and fashion students who depend on 30 years of expertise to get their projects off the ground.
F&F has evolved from 26 years of being America’s leading French and Beaded lace supplier. In 1988, a small shop on West 40th opened its doors to specializing in high-end couture laces. It quickly grew into an important part of the New York Garment District, supplying both local and famous designers.
As they outgrew the original concept store, Fabrics & Fabrics was born, bringing with it a new larger store and broadening its range of couture fabrics, which now includes brocades, silk prints, specialized panels, designer prints from some of our most loved designers and of course, fine woolen fabrics.
F&F has gained recognition through its unique fabrics and customer care, bringing them countless fashion magazines articles, TV coverage and gracing the top runway shows. F&F is considered “destination shopping” for fabric lovers all over the world.
Unfortunately not everyone can travel half way around the world to shop their favourite fabrics. This led the company to launch the website and provide access to part of their collection to international shoppers.
