Helping Families Heal Since 1846 For five generations, the family at Geib Funeral Center at Dover has maintained excellence in service, offering dignified and professional funeral and memorial services. The reception services are comparable to a hotel in elegance but at an affordable price. The special details make the memorials so memorable, such as live music, favorite foods on the menu, and out-of-the-box video tributes. The planning team works hard to respect the preferences, requests, and beliefs of everyone. The valet parking and porte-cochere offer elegance and convenience, knowing your guests will never arrive uncomfortable during a rain or snowstorm. Geib Funeral Center at Dover is a beautiful funeral home and reception center. Like any traditional funeral, you can expect accommodations for an open-casket-optional viewing followed by the funeral service. Then the family can head over to the cemetery for a graveside ceremony. Back at the facility, you will find a gorgeous, open reception hall for a chance to visit, eat food, and listen to live music as you celebrate the life of your loved one. If you want to host a large event, choose our reception center for a wedding, engagement party, work convention, or sweet-sixteen celebration. Cremation services are available at the on-site crematory. They also offer pet cremations at the on-site pet crematory. You can plan for an affordable direct cremation without a gathering event. Or schedule a cremation with a memorial service to be held in the reception center or at an outdoor venue. You can turn your memorial into a life celebration by serving food, playing music, and throwing a party in honor of your loved one. Include military honors and veteran services in any program that you choose. Catering services and concierge services are all available. Geib Funeral Center at Dover stays involved in the Dover, New Philadelphia, Stone Creek, Uhrichsville, Dennison, Strasburg, Bolivar, Newcomerstown, Mineral City, Sugarcreek, Midvale, Gnadenhutten, and Zoar communities. You can start with pre-planning funeral services for a loved one with a terminal illness or yourself, even when you are perfectly healthy. Making plans now will save you loads of stress later. Geib Funeral Center at Dover would love to help you get started on your funeral planning.
