We chose Dish Network for our TV service over a local cable company because it is much less expensive. You get a whole lot more channels for the same price, or even less money. It's easy to upgrade or downgrade your service package, and not confusing at all! We love the dvr feature, although it is somewhat disconcerting to not be able to watch one thing and record another with only one receiver. However, the DVD is overall, an amazing feature... We'll never miss a show again! It makes it so easy and convenient to watch the shows we want to - on our time and schedule.
