Because we are located in the heart of Amish country, we have developed relationships with local Amish quilters and are pleased to offer these quality handmade quilts to our customers. The Amish community prides themselves in producing high quality products. Our quilts are quilted by one person so that the stitches are consistent-a "one-needled" quilt - providing a higher quality to your handmade quilt. The Quilt Shop values local artists. We are pleased to consign with over 35 local and Amish crafters. This is a unique opportunity for the local artisans and our customers. Because of this opportunity we sell many one-of-a-kind gifts and crafts. For example, we consign 18" doll clothes from five different artists.
