I do not recommend this place. After I purchased an item from Tyler Bohm of Aerotech, I spoke with him regarding my need for installation of the equipment. He seem very kind and understanding and offered to help me at a reasonable price even though it was a significant travel for me. He offered to complete it over a long weekend and would help set me up with their truck for the time I was there and find reasonable accommodations. When the day arrived, I traveled there and arrived to an awful surprise. He stated he was surprised to see me, which was a result that he completely failed to remember and clearly did not put it on his calendar. He then went on to assert it was somehow my fault because I did not remind him, which it is not my job to do. If you want to earn my money, that is your responsibility to be professional and on top of things, not to state it was not my fault when we literally had it confirmed in a text message which I showed to him. I said I should just leave at which point he changed his tune and started saying he would get it started right away but it may take a few extra days. I requested lodging accommodations and to use the truck, at which point he said the truck was broken and suggested getting me an airplane ticket to fly home which was completely out of the question for multiple reasons, particularly Covid-19. He said it might take a week and that I should go home and he would make up the cost of the rental vehicle to me. I finally found a rental vehicle because there was no availability most places and drove about 20 hours home. Things continued to get worse because what was supposed to be a few extra days turned into almost a full month and I was stuck with the rental because they would not allow me to return it anywhere else other than where I picked it up. Throughout the time it kept being one thing after another on his part causing delays which he said he would make up to me by not charging extra. Finally he tells me it is ready so I drive all the way back. When we go to settle up he hands me a bill for over double what we initially agreed to. When I said this is completely unacceptable because he never told me he was charging me extra (in fact he told me he would do things without charging extra), he then threatened to take out and undo everything, attempting to hold my airplane hostage (at which point I should have called law enforcement to get help retrieving my aircraft and left). We went back and forth for awhile because this was beyond unacceptable especially since I was on the hook for the rental vehicle and he was now stating he was unwilling to help with. This went on well into the night and I agreed to pay him quite a bit more than originally agreed upon but less than what he started with. Of course it is late, I am exhausted, and nobody was willing to help me return the rental at that time so I slept in the vehicle for the night. In the morning I loaded up and someone finally helped me return the rental. When I am ready to depart, I go to start the airplane and the battery was dead! Somehow they managed to drain it while it was in their shop. I asked for a jump and they finally helped me out. Unfortunately it was still not the end of the nightmare because on my return trip troubles started to arise with the systems they literally just worked on. When I brought it to their attention to get it addressed they did not care and were completely unhelpful. I am beyond disappointed with the experience and will never return and never recommend them.
