Experienced Central Florida (Orlando, Winter Park, Kissimmee, Apopka, Windermere, Lake Nona) mediator, employment lawyer, and HR consultant Mark L. Van Valkenburgh has been practicing law in Central Florida since 1995. He is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell and is certified as a Circuit Civil Mediator by the Florida Supreme Court and for all civil matters in the United States District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. During his career he has litigated a wide variety of disputes including, but not limited to employment, real estate, and commercial disputes, won significant jury trials representing plaintiffs and defendants, and been involved in hundreds of mediations. In addition to his successful work as a mediator, Mr. Van Valkenburgh continues to engage in HR consulting and to practice as an employment lawyer. Mr. Van Valkenburgh also teaches Employment Law and the art of negotiation to students at the Barry University College of Law in a class titled "Interviewing, Counseling and Negotiation."
