When I requested information for a moving company, I received several responses. One stood out touting his ‘veteran-owned’ company, saying he’s honest, & affordable, etc. I have the screenshot of that message if you’d like to see it. Please feel free to contact me regarding his LACK of any honesty, professionalism, integrity, etc. He is enormously incompetent in giving estimates & doesn’t care. I’m not the first who was railroaded into having to agree to pay a LOT more than the original quote. On the day if your move you find out you need more movers, &/or a bigger truck- &, in my case, your move will complete over the span of a WEEK. His trucks seem to be not his, although I can’t confirm that. Two of the trucks had other company names on them- not moving companies. Far too many items were broken -some beyond repair, or ‘lost’. After receiving my full payment he stopped working with me. I have evidence of all of this. He’s a bad guy! I expected integrity from a veteran but received NONE. He’s a disgrace to veterans everywhere. It’s just sad that he waits until your move is at its most vulnerable time to strike. The movers themselves are mostly competent, but they complain a LOT about him &/or the amount of work that’s ahead. Promises were made, but none were kept. Also, he sent two trucks to my storage unit that only needed one. This resulted in the major part of loading trucks not starting until after 11a. It was almost 9:30p when they finished. Ridiculous! One of the trucks couldn’t be driven at night so we had to wait until late the next day (they arrived around 2p) for delivery. About 1/4 of our things weren’t delivered until the following Saturday- late in the day. Almost ALL items were damaged or completely broken. Nothing had been wrapped. Even Eric (one of the Movers) commented that my items had obviously been loaded at the last minute the night before. ‘The guys must have been really tired. That’s not right.’ He took pictures but, apparently, they’ve been lost. I saw him send them to Jon but he claimed he never received them. I sent them as well but he stopped talking to me after that.
