My name is James and I am a project manager for a huge rental company in Florida, called Progress Residential. We contracted Matthew from ID Construction for a small project recently; his contact number being 407-697-2331 at the time. My company schedules pre-construction walk appointments to review our scopes and to ensure that we cover all costs required for the project (which encompasses renovations and full rehabs). Unfortunately, due to my busy schedule, I had to reschedule my appointment with Matthew. We both agreed upon a time to meet, and I thoroughly explained that even though our preconstruction walk was rescheduled, our project start date still remained the same. Well, a few of my higher-ups in the company stopped by the property a few days after it officially started (with our re-scheduled appointment taking place after these few days), and they discovered that the project was completely untouched. I reached out to Matthew from ID construction and received no answer and no response over several days. I was forced to reassign the project, which was completed in one day by Dehlinger Construction. This was probably two months or so ago, and I have yet to hear from Matthew from ID Construction. As a professional that continuously deals with GC's for renovations and rehabs, I would never recommend this company. Reach out to someone else for your needs.
