Dr. Butt is very good, caring and, compassionate, but he does not like to give referrals when needed to a specialist. I had to contact my ins. co and get my referral directly from them. This has happened several times. I am sorry to say but my family had to pull out from him and change Drs. It is a shame as I really liked him as a DR. I would recommend him only if you don't need any other specialist if you are on an HMO plan. Other than that complaint, he is in my opinion the best Dr. in Pinellas co. Sorry to leave him. HMO plans stink!!
