Upright Construction replaced my roof, siding and window. The crew that came out for the roof was woderful. Had a city permit posted in my window. Discussed the job and time frames. They did a wonderful job had a magnetic bar for nails and were pleasant to work with. The siding crew did a wonderful job. I did not see a permit, I assume they had one. They discussed the job, did a great clean up and were pleasant to work with. I am totally dissatisfied with the window replacement. When Rick Kohrmann came to bid the job, I stressed that the windows were over 18 years old and had concerns that an exact replacement would be found. He assured me that Upright uses a glass company and someone would be out 2 weeks before the job started and have the correct window on hand. Matt and Tim arrived the Friday before the job started assured me that the window is a standard stock window and the cost would be around three hundred no more than four hundred dollars. The window that was installed had: Finger prints inside the glass panel, a wrinkle in the film and the handle mounted on top instead of the bottem. I pointed these out to Tim and that the other windows in my house are clear and I do not want the green tint. Tim tried to explain to me that the windows are filled with argon gas and that it is green what a joke. Tim said he would be back in 2 weeks. 3 months later he returned with the same style window. He wanted $285 additonal to change panels.
