Ron drew up the plans for out 500 sqft addition to our 1100 sqft home. I feel he was way out of his league and cost me time and money. He was not able to determine the proper setback on my property. When I personally went to the city and found the correct setback, correcting his mistake he charged us to modify the plans. We knew almost exactly what we wanted but it still took six months and two city permits to get a set of acceptable plans. Once building started we found multiple examples of his inexperience. Footing were designed for two stories (the house is single story) and expensive engineered sheer walls were designed instead of simple plywood siding ( cheap and effective). After going through a remodel I have learned that the design phase is the most crucial part of the remodel. Please take your time and choose an experienced designer it makes a huge difference.

I had Ron draw up a 1250 S.F granny flat in Oceanside, I have to say I had a great experience with him and his staff. Him and his staff were very knowledgeable about the construction materials and the methods. They are very professional and Ron was very creative and design the perfect granny flat for us. He saved us a lot of time and money. I'd definitely recommend this company:)
