I was assigned Sandra as a public defender and after attempting to contact her for a month finally heard from her. She has no information regarding my case, but immediately stated that if I was not willing to negotiate a deal and plead out, she was not willing to litigate my case. Very lackluster approach and in violation of the ABA model rules of professional conduct. An attorney does not get to decide how you plead and if you go to trial or not! This woman should retire! Other reviews confirm I am not the first to be told this.

I would give 0 stars if I could! Lack of professionalism! Lack of Communication! Never Defends ClIent's, forces and makes them think they have to take a plea or she won't represent them! Time to retire!

As far as I can tell, ineffective counsel on Joey Bergeron case. Would not return calls, little if ANY research or presentation to courts Rehabilitation v Corrections. I wouldn't hire this person from my perspective. A case seems just a number with no humanitarian presentatios.
