Founded in 2009, Grime Stoppers, Inc is a floor cleaning company specializing in the cleaning and restoration of carpet and tile and grout floors for both residential and commercial customers. We use advanced technology and non toxic environmentally friendly chemicals in our cleaning process. We also offer cleaning and resealing of both hardwood floors and concrete. As an add-on to our cleaning services we can apply protective coatings, such as Microguard, on tile and grout floors and epoxy flooring finishes for most concrete surfaces indoors and out. Our sister company GSI Distributors is the St. Louis and surrounding area distributor of the Intinsiti line of cleaning chemicals for the food service industry. We utilize state of the art technology to clean your carpet whether it is for the home or the office. We use a truck mount system in most instances, but also have a portable unit which is as effective as a truck mount when the situation warrants. Instead of your traditional carpet wand we use advanced technology from Rotovac which provides a deeper clean for your residential and some commercial carpets. In most commercial cases we are able to use a low moisture method of cleaning which allows your carpet to typically dry in 1-2 hours. Step One: First we use a simple non-toxic, eco-friendly cleaning solution to agitate the dirt that’s ingrained into the floor (that’s why mopping never removes it, allowing it to build up over time). Step Two: We then use our patented floor tool that applies heated water at just the right pre-selected cleaning pressure in the Containing Dome – pre-selected at a level that precludes any damage. At the same time the water is being applied, it’s also vacuum-extracted at 5 gallons per minute, leaving the surface almost completely dry.
